Welcome to the Honour the Maunga team
Welcome to the Honour the Maunga team - we’re delighted to have you join our tree-saving cause. Even though our main focus is Ōwairaka / Mt Albert, we know that our efforts will help make a difference to trees on all of Auckland’s maunga.
Here’s what you need to know about being a HTM helper
Join our social media groups
We have two Facebook pages:
1) Honour the Maunga Community: This is a private group and is where most of our discussion and notices are posted. You need to apply to join this group in order to see the page's content. However, it's difficult to share off this page, so we set up a public page as well.
2) Honour the Maunga: This is our public Facebook page. Key announcements and media releases are posted here as well as on our private page. You can share off this public page.
We also have an Instagram feed - Honourthemaunga
Here’s what you need to know about being on the roster. We will always put new starters with one of our experienced team members, so you won’t be there on your own! Click here to watch a welcome message from Samar, one of our founding members and Honour the Maunga Committee members.
