We are very grateful for the generosity so far to get our voices heard and share our concern. The trees may be safe for now but there is still a lot of work and we need your help to continue advocating for their safety.

Use of funds

Donated funds will be used for costs associated with our campaign - eg, website and database fees, social media advertising campaigns, out-of-pocket expenses as needed.

We will need as many tree defenders as we can get if the Authority moves to fell the trees. Sign up here to get a maunga tree felling text alert.

Since our peaceful occupation of Ōwairaka/Mount Albert began on 11th November 2019, over 8000 people have signed our hard copy and online petition to stop the unnecessary felling of the exotic trees. To add your voice; standing for those that have none, please sign the petition using the button below, and share with your contacts near and far. Exotic trees on 13 other Auckland volcanic cones will also be felled, so stopping this happening on Mt Albert/Ōwairaka will help those trees too.

Please note that donations made on the Change petition website go to Change.org to promote the petition and do not come directly to us.
